Officials from the West German Research and Technology Agency, which recently visited the Soviet Union, said the Soviet government spent £ 280 million in 1988 on superconductor development. The Soviet Union and West Germany will conduct regular exchanges on superconducting information. Superconductor is a non-conductive conductive material.
