The renovation and reuse of old buildings is a major issue currently facing the Netherlands. There are many buildings in the Netherlands that are left vacant and waiting to be rebuilt and distributed. Some of these buildings are of excellent quality and are waiting for creative people to discover their potential. The steelworks in Piekstraat, Rotterdam, is a good example of where it is clearly not quite where an office is, but with a unique location and excellent views of the Maas River. The reason why the old building of the steelworks can appeal to IMd is the spacious interior under the magnificent steel structure of the building. EHA Architects and IMD are in many projects
