Lateral discharge (C-reaction) of spinal dorsal horn WDR and NS neurons induced by intense electrical stimulation in peripheral receptive field was used as nociceptive response to observe the effects of bilateral hypothalamic subnucleus (Sm) or apical region Effect of microinjection of local anesthetic lidocaine into APtN on the analgesic effect induced by electroacupuncture at different intensities. The results showed that both sides of the Sm local anesthesia can significantly reduce the strong electro-acupuncture on the C-response inhibition effect, but the weak electro-acupuncture inhibitory effect had no significant effect; bilateral APtN local anesthesia can weaken weak electric acupuncture inhibition of C-response, but The inhibitory effect of strong electro-acupuncture had no significant effect. The results suggest that electro-acupuncture at different intensities may be introduced by different thickness fibers and produce analgesic effects through different central mechanisms. Sm participates in mediating the analgesic effect of EAF excited by fine fibers; APtN participates in the analgesic effect induced by weak electro-acupuncture stimulation of crude fibers.
