随着社会的不断进步,信息更新的速度日益加快,新型文献载体的不断涌现,馆藏文献的外延和内涵都发生了巨大的变化,网上信息的激增,这些都对水利图书馆管理人员提出了更新、更高的要求。笔者就如何提高新时期图书馆管理人员的整体素质谈点浅见。 一、水利专业图书管理人员的现状 1、安于现状缺乏紧迫感。图书管理者面对高速度发展的信息社会和现代化的信息管理方式缺乏紧迫感和忧患意识。一方面把这一问题看得很神秘、很难,产生畏难情绪,甚至产生拒绝接受的心理;另一方面又认为与己关系不大,主观上仍留恋传统的管理方式,
