2014年3月18日对我国生物医学工程界而言是一个令人悲痛的日子。中国生物医学工程领域的创始人之一、为我国生物医学工程学科发展作出重大贡献、为全国同行所敬仰的大师、中国生物医学工程学会前副理事长、本刊原主任编委、顾问蒋大宗教授因癌症医治无效,永远离开了人世。享年92岁。蒋大宗教授1922年5月14日(农历)生于江苏扬州。1940~1944年就读于西南联合大学电机系,1944年2月提前毕业,投笔从戎,“征调”入孙立人将军
