Picasso was the pioneer of the Cubist movement, who attempted to present the world from a different perspective simultaneously with simple geometries. However, after the First World War, Picasso’s portrait style returned to the classical tradition, such as reading the letter. Two men in the picture sitting side by side on the stone, dressed in suits and the background environment in stark contrast, the body of two people occupy almost the entire picture. They are close together, one of whom is skilled in laying his arms over each other’s shoulders. The letters and books appearing on the screen are metaphors for words and literature. Many people think that the painting depicts Pablo Picasso and the French writer Guillaume Apollinaire. The two artists met in Paris in 1904 and established a profound friendship. Apollinaire
