内蒙古河套灌区一直沿用传统的地面灌溉技术,而传统的地面灌溉技术存在许多问题.随着黄河水资源供需矛盾的日益突出,改进地面灌溉技术,有效提高灌溉水利用系数,对缓解河套灌区水资源短缺、保持灌溉农业的可持续发展具有重要意义.近年来河套灌区通过采用水平畦田灌溉技术、波涌闸管灌溉技术、膜上灌溉等灌水方法,使地面灌溉技术得到很大的改进,有效地提高了灌溉水利用系数,同时也提高了灌区地面灌溉的自动化能力,保证了高效、节水、节能灌溉目标的实现.
