(The Institute for Newspaper Research in Dortmund,简称INRD)是全球独一无二的特殊媒体库,专门收集来自说德语国家历史上和当代出版的报刊。
The Institute for Newspaper Research in Dortmund (INRD), a unique library in the world, specializes in collecting media from historians and contemporary publishers who speak German-speaking countries. It is understood that in today’s world Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein regard German as the only official language. Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg and Switzerland have made German one of the official languages. “All newspapers, no matter now, in the past, or discarded after they have been read, receive the same benefits.” Reporter Paul Feckett once described INRD’s work. Since the 1920s, INRD has become a world-renowned special media library, newspaper archive and news archive center for collecting newspapers and protecting cultural heritage for future generations.
