中国老区建设促进会10月10日至12日在北京召开了“企业家支持老区建设研讨会”。中共中央政治局委员、全国人大常委会副委员长姜春云出席会议并讲话。来自全国近50位企业家,在京的30多位老干部、老将军、老专家,水利部、民政部和国务院扶贫开发领导小组的有关领导,中国老区建设促进会的领导共100余人参加了会议。姜春云说,在全党全国人民深入学习贯彻江泽民总书记“七一”重要讲话的热潮中,中国老区建设促进会主持召开企业家支持老区建设研讨会,研讨革命老区与企业相互支持、共同发展的问题,进一步动员企业支持革命老区建设、促进企业发展,很有必要,很有意义。如何进一步做好老区工作,促进老区快速发展,姜春云提出了五点希望和要求(讲话另发)。中国老促会常务副会长王作义代表中国老促会在会上作了题为《认真实践“三个代表”要求,促进革命老区和企业共同发展》的报告(另发),对企业家为老区建
