江泽民总书记站在党和国家发展的高度,深刻总结我党近80年历史经验,高屋建瓴,总揽全局,提出了“三个代表”的重要思想,集中体现了党的根本性质,是对毛泽东、邓小平建党思想的继承和发展,是面向新世纪党的建设的重要纲领,对于推进建设有中国特色的社会主义伟大事业,具有重要的现实意义和深远历史意义。各级老干部工作部门,当前最重要的就是要按照“三个代表”要求,解放思想,求真务实,开拓创新,把全省的老干部工作推向一个新水平。
