历史文化街区因具备历史的真实性、风貌的完整性、生活的延续性等特征,被称为“活”的城市文化景观。随着社会迅速发展,人们在物质、精神需求以及审美观念上的变化对历史街区保持传统风貌特色带来很大挑战。保护理念与方法则从大拆大建、仿古造假,逐渐趋向于以基础设施改造和环境整治为主的渐进式保护模式。以下遴选出的国内外城市历史文化街区案例,在历史上曾有过辉煌,也经历过衰败,留下了许多有形与无形的文化印记,而今在延续街区传统风土并兼顾城市发展方面,又再现新的活力。
Because of historical authenticity, completeness of style and continuity of life, historical and cultural blocks are called “living” urban cultural landscapes. With the rapid development of society, people's material and spiritual needs as well as aesthetic changes in the history of the block to maintain the traditional style poses a great challenge.
