Studying complexes containing transition metal-phosphorus bonds not only makes important contribution to the theoretical development of chemical bonds, but also has important practical applications in the field of synthetic chemistry. In the past few decades, a large variety of complexes containing transition metal phosphorus bonds have been synthesized, with rare earth phosphorus-containing complexes being the exception.
