In recent years, the trend of underground metal mining is increasing the amount of blasting (usually more than 100,000 tons per blast). The mining industry in Canada is leading the development of Vertical Backward Mining (VRM), Large Diameter Deep Hole Mining (LBH) and Cable Anchor Support to reinforce surrounding rocks and prevent dilution. In order to carry out the explosion of a large number of ore, we must study the effective shipping system. Based on a pre-defined (but typical) recovery scenario, this article illustrates the technical and economic inferences of the following shipping systems: 1. intermittent loading with scraper; 2. scraper with short body dump truck intermittent Loading; 3. Continuous loading with short body dump trucks (based on loading operation costs for AL-60 continuous loaders). According to the actual results obtained with an AL-60 continuous loader for a ramp excavation project, compared with the intermittent-load diversion (small amount) in tunneling, continuous loading will show concentrated mining (from one loading The mine is loaded with a lot of ore) cost-effective. It has been found that continuous loading is superior to intermittent loading in approximately 80% of ramp excavation at a turnaround spacing of 150m. The article compares the fuel consumption and the total cycle time, and proposes a cost estimate.
