从图书馆职业的发展历史和发展趋势,具体阐述图书馆员职业化素养所包含的内容。图书馆职业是一个以服务为基本特征的职业,树立职业化意识,就是树立服务意识,树立以读者和用户的服务意识,读者是图书馆服务的对象,读者的需求是图书馆产生和发展的根本。读者变化着的需求同样是图书馆发展方向、发展速度和发展规模的指南针。因此,图书馆员一定要牢记树立为读者服好务的意识,始终坚持“读者第一,服务至上”的服务思想,甘当人梯,敢为人先,全心全意为读者服好务。
