第一次听说DIT是在2008年松下公司推广P2系列摄影机时,当时徐克导演使用松下P2 HPX3000拍完两部院线电影,邀请日本当地和赴韩交流的技术人员完成DIT服务。敢于尝试,是建立在他们的团队真的懂摄影机、懂拍摄流程、懂色彩管理、以及在有预算的基础上进行的。在2008年之前的很长一段时间里,绝大多数院线电影还在用胶片摄影机拍摄,电视电影端的主要业务被索尼F900R独占。那时候,职业电影人几乎不拍电视剧,电视剧从业者也很难涉足电影领域,使用胶片拍摄的影片首选机型也不会是数字电影摄影机。
