THE CAMPUS OF INFOSYS TECHNOLOGIES, one of India’s most respected software services companies, is located in another world just a little over an hour from dirty, noisy Banglore. Outside the tidy, low-rise buildings lined with greenery, sleek, stylish private buses stop to pick up staff in the evening to return to town. “Twice a day we turn the attention of the third world into the hope of the first world,” Narayana Murthy, soft-spoken President of INFOSYS, said: “No matter what the real world, we all have to compete with the world Class, first-class companies keep behaving the same. ”
