Preface This paper presents a tentative discussion aimed at arousing discussions on alternative ways to develop and utilize the resources of Engraulis japonicus Temminck & Schegel with a view to gaining a full understanding and feasibility of this issue. The pomfret resources owned by China’s offshore and offshore areas are very rich.
