吴养木(1920~2009年),名彭,号小鋗,浙江嘉兴桐乡人。吴待秋长子,为吴伯滔第三代画学传人,幼年随父迁居苏州。毕业于复旦大学经济系,后为专业画家。曾任苏州国画院院长、苏州吴门画派研究会会长等。吴养木历经数十年的苦心探索,后期终能自成一家,而尤以山水为著。2015年12月,吴养木作品展在苏州美术馆开幕,展品以吴养木后期山水画居多。目前市场上所见也以其后期作品为主,画价也较高。 Wu Yang wood (1920 ~ 2009), the name of Peng, No. Xiao Bian, Tongxiang, Jiaxing, Zhejiang. In December 2015, Wu Yangmu’s art exhibition was opened in Suzhou Art Museum. Most of his exhibits are landscape paintings of late Wu Yangmu. The current market is also seen in the works of the latter period, painting prices are higher.
