去年,我们丰宁县旱情严重,甜菜播种后一个多月没有下雨,种子不能发芽,不少同志耽心种子有问题,我们根据高梁玉米用红四氮唑染色法测定种子生活力的办法,对甜菜种子进行了发芽率测定试验,取得较好效果。原来认为种子有问题的三千多亩甜菜地,现在苗情良好,节约种子九千多千,经费一万余元。一、试验结果为了使红四氮唑染色法符合发芽率,实际我们用两组比较法,即从同一个样品中取出两组种,一组种子用红四氮唑染色,另一组用常规发芽法发芽,然后比较两组结果。
