The purpose of secondary education is to train educated people into idealistic, moral, cultural, and disciplined socialist citizens. Its task is to lay the foundation for the delivery of qualified freshmen in institutions of higher learning, and to lay the foundation for the delivery of qualified labor force for all walks of life. Our junior high school chemistry education should also be based on these points of view.
