在我国向全面小康社会过渡的历史时期,关注民生、改善民生、提高民生质量,是民心工程。这也是粮食产业在发展新阶段新的重要内容。归根结底,粮食产业的目标在于“为生产者谋利,为消费者造福”。由此出发,除了在数量上充分保证市场供应之外,粮食工作还应该提高供应粮食及其制品的质量,使居民吃得饱、吃得好、吃得营养、吃出健康。换句话说,粮食工作要树立为提高民生质量而做出贡献的新理念和新思路。
