现行的改良河西硫酸盐盐渍地的生物学方法主要有三种:利用耐盐牧草(如碱茅)建立人工草地的方法适于有水利条件的地区应用,在地下水位较低且排水良好的条件下可进一步发展草粮轮作;封育及补播等改良措施尤其适用于地下水位较高、较为潮湿的大面积盐渍化草地改良;乔灌草配置改良盐渍地的方法特别适用于风沙严重的宜林盐渍地,立体配置,作为护牧林带或生物围栏能发挥多方面的效益.
