目前,制造优质、高密度磁带的磁记录材料——金属磁粉,已被认为是较理想的高密度磁记录材料。原因是金属磁粉的比饱和强度σ_s和矫顽力都比现在常用的铁的氧化物磁粉γ-Fe_2O_3的σ_s和H_c高出一倍左右。金属磁粉在实用化中存在着下列困难:一是金属磁粉在空气中化学稳定性不好,二是金属磁粉在磁浆中不易分散。经过20多年的努力,直到七十年代末美国和日本才出现用金属磁粉制成的磁带商品。我们于1981年在实验室制成
At present, the magnetic recording material for manufacturing high-quality, high-density magnetic tape, a metal magnetic powder, has been considered as an ideal high-density magnetic recording material. The reason is that the specific saturation magnetization σ_s and the coercive force of the metal magnetic powder are both about twice as high as the σ_s and H_c of the iron oxide magnetic powder γ-Fe 2 O 3 commonly used now. Metal magnetic powder in the practical existence of the following difficulties: First, the chemical stability of metal magnetic powder in the air is not good, and second, metal magnetic powder in the magnetic slurry is not easy to disperse. After more than 20 years of hard work, it was not until the late 1970s that the tapes made of magnetic metal powder appeared in the United States and Japan. We made it in the laboratory in 1981
