文章回顾了作者编绘《中国历代家具图录大全》的前后过程,指出历代家具作为祖国文化艺术宝库中的重要组成部分,其形成的一段段各具风格异彩的独特形象是中华民族不可丢弃的珍贵艺术财富,无论是民间家具还是宫廷家具,都闪耀着劳动人民的创造智慧,渗透着历代良工巧匠的血汗。文章呼吁:有关部门应重视加强对历代家具造型艺术的发掘和整理,组织专门力量编绘其专业卷帙,以流世后人。
The article reviews the author’s compilation of the history of the Catalog of Chinese Furniture, and points out that the unique image of the furniture of various dynasties as an important part of the treasure house of the motherland’s culture and art is the indispensable feature of the Chinese nation. Precious artistic wealth, whether it is folk furniture or court furniture, sparks the creative wisdom of the working people and permeates the blood and sweat of craftsmen of all ages. The article called for: the relevant departments should pay attention to strengthening the art of ancient furniture, excavation and finishing, organize special forces editing their professional volume, in order to flow future generations.
