杰克·伦敦是20世纪初美国最为著名的现实主义作家,有着“美国的高尔基”的美誉。代表作品有《热爱生命》《野性的呼唤》《马丁·伊登》等。目前学界对他的研究还主要集中在《野性的呼唤》《白牙》《海狼》等几部作品,即对其早期小说创作的研究上,而对其后期小说创作的研究则少之甚少,这无疑影响了对其研究的完整性、全面性和系统性。本文就将以此为切入点,试对杰克·伦敦后期的小说创作主题进行深入研究分析。
Jack London was one of the most famous realist writers in the United States in the early 20th century. He has the reputation of “the Gorky of the United States.” Representative works include “love life”, “call of the wild” “Martin Eden” and so on. At present, the study of his scholars mainly focuses on several works such as The Call of the Wild, The White Tooth and the Sea Wolf, that is, the research of his early novels and the research of his later novels This undoubtedly affected the integrity, comprehensiveness and systematicness of his research. This article will use this as a starting point, try on the late Jack London’s novel writing theme in-depth research and analysis.
