原湖北省人大常委会两位老主任刘晋、张旺午同志在1995年12月19日辞世之际,仍然保持着共产主义战士、彻底唯物主义者的风范。处理丧事的两天里我深受教育,21日深夜手不停笔写下自己的感受。1996年元月2日《湖北日报》和同年第二期《楚天主人》分别以“两篇遗嘱光彩照人”和“两份光彩照人的遗嘱”为题予以发表。此后报社和刊物编辑部以及笔者都听到、收到许多读者反映。有的读者赞美老革命的事迹,讴歌我党光荣传统。湖北大学政治系陆先行同
The two former chiefs of the Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial People’s Congress, Liu Jin and Zhang Wanwu, maintained their demeanor of communist fighters and thorough materialists as they died on December 19, 1995. I was deeply educated in the two days of the funeral procession and wrote my feelings at night on the 21st. On January 2, 1996, “Hubei Daily” and the second “Chutian Host” of the same year were promulgated in the title of “Two Willful Spots” and “Two Splendid Wills” respectively. Since then, newspapers and publications editorial department as well as the author have heard and received many readers’ reactions.
