ISO published October 5, 2012, ISO / ASTM 51276: “Procedures for dosimetry systems using polymethylmethacrylate.” ISO / ASTM 51276: 2012 provides recommendations for the proper implementation of dosimetry in radiation processing. This protocol specifies a dose measurement system using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) to measure the absorbed dose (in terms of water absorbed dose) of a material irradiated by photons or electrons.
