２０００年１月１２日，中国社会科学院民族研究所少数民族经济研究室与《民族研究》编辑部联合举办了“西部大开发学术研讨会”。与会的３０多位专家学者就西部大开发中的经济因素和非经济因素两方面进行了讨论，现就主要观点作一简要介绍。 （一）西部大开发中的经济因素 （
On January 12, 2000, the Ethnic Economy Research Office of the Institute of Nationalities under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences jointly organized the “Western Development Symposium” with the Editorial Board of “Ethnic Studies”.
