裁员,是在任何行业都可见到的行为。小规模的裁员往往是企业基于优胜劣汰,将不符合企业文化或有碍企业发展的员工从企业队伍中剔除,再添加入新鲜血液。而大规模的裁员常发生于行业不景气之时,尤其是当西方资本主义社会进入经济萧条时期,常常伴随有大规模的裁员现象发生;不过也还有一类大规模裁员,并非是由于受行业不景气影响,而是由于企业要改变战略发展方向,而进行的人员调整,我们称之为战略性裁员。对于传统行业来说,由于企业发展目标明确,因此这类裁员现象并不多见,尤其是对于国内的老百姓来说,除经历过国企改革而引发的大规模裁员(俗称“下岗”)外,大多数发展稳妥的大公司几乎给了员工祥和、安定的“家”的感觉。只是在日新月异、迅猛发展的IT行业,一切都充满了变数,于是,一幕幕大规模裁员逐步上演。直至最近,一篇名为“给你一个调整中的真实的宏碁中国”(作者署名“宏碁不是我的家”)在网上散播开来,再次在公众中掀起这个话题。(以下用“Acer”代表“宏碁”)
