Following the RSM-08 multichannel transient signal processing instrument that was exhibited at the National Invention Exhibition and won the Yellow Crane Invention Award, the Chinese Academy of Sciences recently launched a new generation of instruments, the RSM-12C Multi-channel transient signal recording processor. Recently, it has passed the test of Hubei Metrology Institute. The test results show that the main performance index of the instrument reaches or approaches the level of DM-711D digital waveform memory of Japan’s 80’s. The instrument is characterized by high signal-to-noise ratio and large test dynamic range. It is especially suitable for the extraction of reflected waves in pile foundation testing.
