专业建设是高职院校内涵发展的核心,专业建设理念不清晰阻碍着高职院校专业快速健康地发展。高职商务英语专业是语言类专业与职业教育的融合,尽管商务英语专业是高职院校开设最多的语言类专业,但目前国内鲜有专业规模大、特色突出的高职院校出现。明晰高职商务英语专业的语言性、复合性、职业性、应用性和地域性等专业特性,可规范该专业的课程设置、师资队伍建设及实践教学等专业建设的问题,也是该专业加强内涵发展的前提。
