膨胀水箱的功能是容纳系统中的水因受热升温而膨胀出来的体积。有了膨胀水箱,系统在运行中的升温降温都无需使水经常地流出系统或再向系统补水,这样可使运行简单,还可减少热量损失,这已是众所皆知的问题。近来有人说,根据实际调查,系统漏水量很大,由于加热而膨胀出来的水远远小于漏水量,所以膨胀水箱就没有必要了。漏水量大到什么程度呢?据说可达最大循环水量的3~5%,甚至高达7~8%。粗算一下,如系统容水量与循环水量在数值上大致相等
