唐山是一座依煤而建,因钢而兴的资源型重工业城市。1976年的那场大地震,让唐山几被夷为平地。这座城市的历史,似乎从此被切为两段。但是历史沉淀下来的文化源流,在唐山其实从未中断。蜿蜒的明代古长城和城外雄伟的清东陵,一直在延续着中华民族的文明;中国近代工业的摇篮——开滦煤矿唐山一号井,挺过了地震浩劫,至今仍在产煤;博物馆的老照片上,广东会馆、广东街、老开滦洋房、酒店、马场圈的影子,忠实地记录着南北文化和东西方文明在此交汇的最早痕迹;更不用提“冀东三枝花”皮影戏、评剧和乐亭大鼓等艺术形式,至今在民间代代相传。加上唐山各个高校中的学科资源,以及艺术学科的特色优势,唐山,这座百年工业重镇定能延续不朽的文化传奇。
Tangshan is a resource-based heavy industrial city built from coal and rejuvenated by steel. The great earthquake in 1976 left Tangshan almost flattened. The history of the city seems to have been cut into two sections. However, the cultural origin that has been precipitated by history has never stopped in Tangshan. The meandering ancient Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty and the magnificent Qing Tombs outside the city have been continuing the civilization of the Chinese nation. The cradle of modern Chinese industry - the well of Tangshan No. 1 at the Kailuan Coal Mine survived the earthquake and is still producing coal ; Museum of old photos, Guangdong Hall, Guangdong Street, Lao Kuan Luan bungalows, hotels, horse race circle of circles, faithfully recorded the earliest traces of North and South cultures and Eastern and Western civilizations in this intersection traces; not to mention “Jidong three Flower ”shadow play, Pingju and Laoting drums and other art forms, so far in the folk from generation to generation. Coupled with the disciplinary resources of various colleges and universities in Tangshan and the special advantages of art disciplines, Tangshan, a centennial industrial city, will continue its immortal cultural legend.
