日本发明一种喷钼活塞环,其喷钼层兼有优良的耐熔着磨损特性和耐磨性。以下简要介绍此种喷钼活塞环及其制造方法。 为改善活塞环的耐磨性,人们给活塞环表面镀上硬铬层。此硬铬层硬度高,具有优良的耐磨性。可是,硬铬层保油性差,加上铬的熔点低(1863℃),滑动中容易熔着拉伤气缸。近年来,人们以喷钼环代替镀铬环。 金属钼本身具有良好的摩擦特性,特别是喷钼层表面为多孔质的,有良好的保油性,而且,钼的熔点高(2623℃),不容易引起熔着磨损。但是,钼的硬度比硬铬层低,其耐磨性也远不及硬铬层强,人们期望能有一种耐磨性强而又不会产生熔着磨损的活塞环。
Japan invented a spray molybdenum piston ring, the molybdenum spray layer both excellent wear resistance and abrasion resistance. The following is a brief description of such a molybdenum piston ring and its manufacturing method. In order to improve the wear resistance of the piston ring, the piston ring surface is coated with a hard chromium layer. This hard chrome layer high hardness, with excellent wear resistance. In recent years, people replace molybdenum rings with molybdenum rings. It is expected that there will be a piston ring with strong abrasion resistance and no weld wear.
