从大量的分析可知,CSMA/CD在网络负载较轻时,能获得较好的通信效率,而TokenPassingBus在网络负载较重时能保证较高的通信效率及实时响应能力。因此本文提出了一种新型的、带自动切换机制CSMA/CD和TokenBus混合型介质访问控制协议。其基本思想是在网络轻载时,采用CSMA/CD介质访问控制机制,而当网络负载增加到一定程度时,它能自动切换到使用TokenBus介质访问控制机制。一旦网络负载下降到一定程度,它又能自动切换到使用CSMA/CD介质访问控制机制。由此可见,这种协议在任何网络负载下都能获得较高的通信效率和较好的实时响应能力。
From a large amount of analysis, CSMA / CD can obtain better communication efficiency when the network load is light, and TokenPassingBus can ensure higher communication efficiency and real-time response capability when the network load is heavy. Therefore, this paper presents a new type of hybrid media access control protocol with CSMA / CD and TokenBus with automatic switching mechanism. The basic idea is to use the CSMA / CD media access control mechanism when the network is lightly loaded, and automatically switch to using the TokenBus media access control mechanism when the network load increases to a certain degree. Once the network load drops to a certain extent, it can automatically switch to using the CSMA / CD media access control mechanism. Thus, this protocol can obtain higher communication efficiency and better real-time response capability under any network load.
