清化镇位于河南省西北部,北依太行,南濒沁水。同治三年(1864)《重筑清化镇城碑记》曰:“北阻太行,南环沁水,尤为河北隩区。”①先秦时期,清化镇为鄈城;唐初置太行县,寻废为镇,划归河内(今沁阳)县。金大定元年(1161)改为清化镇,为河内县所辖;金兴定五年(1221),河内县设四镇,即武德、柏香、万善、清化。明清时期,清化镇为怀庆府河内县所辖。清顺治元
Qinghua Town is located in the northwest of Henan Province, north of Taihang, south of Qinshui.
