1957年的冬天,《河北画报》应运而生。应着时运,应着国运,在燕赵大地开始用笔墨记录那个时代。田辛甫、阎肃、韩羽等老一辈艺术家开始在这一方热土上耕耘。如今,翻开斑驳发黄的书页,仿佛画面的上那些人,那些劳作时的笑容和丰收的喜悦,那些充满希望的时代图景,被再次唤醒。恍然回过神来,才发现那已然是一支渐渐遥远的歌,一部渐渐定格的史书。瞻前继而顾后,或者这就是今日重读的意义。
