应用型本科院校的人才培养目标是培养学生的实践应用能力和善于解决实际问题的能力。翻译能力是英语学习者综合能力的体现。目前,非英语专业学生是翻译的主力军,其翻译能力的培养迫在眉睫。文章分析了培养非英语专业学生翻译能力的必要性,阐述了了大学英语翻译教学及学生在翻译能力方面存在的问题,总结出了一系列有利于提高学生翻译能力的可行性方法,以期在教学实践中得到应用与实践。
The goal of talent training in applied undergraduate colleges is to cultivate students’ practical ability and ability to solve practical problems. Translation ability is the embodiment of the comprehensive ability of English learners. At present, non-English majors are the main force in translation and the cultivation of their translation ability is imminent. The article analyzes the necessity of cultivating non-English majors’ ability of translating, expounds the problems in translating English of college English and their translating ability, and concludes with a series of feasible ways to improve the translating ability of students.
