现代艺术由于片面追求创新而走向了艺术的反面,从而有了所谓“艺术的终结”。但在20世纪的美学话语中,“艺术的终结”并不带有任何批判性,相反是在对现代艺术的创新精神进行各种各样的辩护。这更进一步促成了艺术的终结。后现代社会的全面审美化进程使得艺术不再局限于少数精英的实验,而进入了普通大众的日常生活,从而为艺术摆脱终结展示了一个很有前途的方向。但是,审美化本身潜伏着危机,审美化在追求平均美的时候不是提高而是扼杀审美敏感力。因此,真正的艺术似乎不应该满足于对现实的装饰,而应该重新回到对现实的批判上来。
Since modern art has gone to the opposite of art because of one-sided pursuit of innovation, it has the so-called “end of art.” However, in the aesthetical discourse of the 20th century, “the end of art” does not have any criticalness. On the contrary, it is carrying out various defenses on the innovative spirit of modern art. This further contributed to the end of art. The process of comprehensively beautifying the postmodern society has made art no longer confined to the experiment of a few elites, but has entered the daily life of ordinary people and thus has shown a promising future for art to get rid of its end. However, the aesthetic itself lurks a crisis. Aestheticization does not raise the pursuit of average beauty but stifles aesthetic sensitivity. Therefore, the real art does not seem to be content with the decoration of reality, but should return to the critique of reality.
