At the invitation of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Chinese medical scientific research management inspection training delegation visited the United States on August 6th to August 25th, 1999 for a 20-day medical scientific research management visit and training. A total of 14 universities, research institutes, and management institutions visited the United States. They successively became the School of Economics and Management of the University of California (State Public) and the University of California Los Angeles School of Public Health (State Public Administration.
