In 2007, Liangzhu ruins group found a huge ancient city. Since the 1980s, many Neolithic sites have been discovered in various parts of China, but they were found only in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. As a researcher of Neolithic culture in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, I feel puzzled by this phenomenon. Judging from the performance of archeological materials, Liangzhu Culture is the most complicated culture in China’s Neolithic society. However, why there is no city in the Liangzhu site? Perhaps it was not necessary at that time to build such a wall of isolation from the outside world in order to ensure the dominance of dominance - the author once had to think so. However, the archaeological work eventually found that there were still some cities in the Liangzhu site. This article intends to discuss the historical significance of this discovery.
