1980年10月20日,经国务院批准,中国出版对外贸易总公司正式成立。经过20年的发展,目前同世界150多个国家和地区的近千家客户有着密切的业务往来,每年对外销售图书5万种,约占全国年出版图书品种总量的二分之一;对外销售期刊4000种,约占全国年出版公开发行期刊品种总量的三分之二。为近一步增强凝聚力,中国出版对外贸易总公司举行成立20周年庆祝大会,公司新老职工集聚一堂忆旧图新,新闻出版署领导到会祝贺。本刊选摘庆祝会上的部分发言,借以同贺。
On October 20, 1980, with the approval of the State Council, the China Publishing Foreign Trade Corporation was formally established. After 20 years of development, it has close business relations with nearly a thousand customers in over 150 countries and regions in the world. It sells about 50,000 kinds of books each year, accounting for about one-half of the total varieties of books published in the country each year. Foreign sales 4,000 journals, accounting for about two-thirds of the total number of journals published and published in the country. As a step closer to enhancing cohesion, the publication and celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of China’s Foreign Trade Corporation was held. The old and new workers of the Company gathered together and reminded the leaders of the Press and Publication Administration.
