揭东县关工委认为关心孤儿是建设和谐社会的一项具体行动,因而,主动把它作为关工委的一项重要工作。据调查,全县共有孤儿527人。
The Jiedong County Customs Working Committee believes that caring for orphans is a concrete action for building a harmonious society. Therefore, taking the initiative to regard it as an important task of the relevant work committee. According to the survey, there are 527 orphans in the county.
