赤脚医生在我国广火农村中肩负着八亿农民的卫生保健、疾病防治和计划生育的繁重任务,是农村基层卫生工作主要力量。多年来他们为保护农业劳动力作出了巨大的贡献。为了解赤脚医生队伍的状况,评价他们的工作质量,提出建设好赤脚医生队伍应采取的措施,我们采用普查和抽样调查相结合的方法,对上海县赤脚医生进行了调查。 概况 赤脚医生是农村生产大队一级的基层卫生人员。1958年建立生产大队一级体制时,曾训练过一批保健员,1968年改称赤脚医生。经过不断地培训提高,上海县已建立了一支立足农村,方便群众,面向生产的群众卫生队伍。1980年底全县共有赤脚医生751名,平均每个公
Barefoot doctors shoulder the heavy tasks of health care, disease prevention, and family planning for 800 million farmers in China’s vast rural areas. They are the main force in grassroots health work in rural areas. Over the years they have made tremendous contributions to protecting the agricultural labor force. To understand the status of the team of barefoot doctors, to evaluate the quality of their work, and to propose measures to be taken to build a team of barefoot doctors, we used a combination of census and sample surveys to investigate the barefoot doctors in Shanghai County. Overview Barefoot doctors are primary health workers at the level of rural production brigades. In 1958, when he established the first-tier system of the production brigade, he had trained a group of health workers, and in 1968 he was renamed barefoot doctors. After continuous training and improvement, Shanghai County has established a mass health team based in rural areas, convenient for the masses, and oriented to production.
