1925年5月30日,上海工人和学生举行了大规模的援助纱厂工人的街头宣传演讲和示威游行活动。震惊中外的五卅运动爆发了。当日,英国租界的反动巡捕,对示威工人和学生进行了残酷的镇压,鲜血染红了整个上海滩。 五卅惨案发生的消息传出后,激起了全国人民的极大愤怒,多少年深埋在中国人民心里的对帝国主义的怒火一下子喷发出来。全国性的反对帝国主义的民族运动浪潮,以不可遏止的声势迅速席卷全国。 6月初,当营口的工人、学生和商人知道五卅惨案发生的消息后,纷纷举行罢工、罢课和罢市活动,声援上海工人。
On May 30, 1925, Shanghai workers and students held large-scale street propaganda speeches and demonstrations to assist mill workers. Five outbreaks that shocked China and other countries broke out. On the same day, the reactionary patrols by the British concession brutally cracked down on demonstrators and students, blood stained the entire Shanghai beach. After the news of the May 30 massacre came out, it aroused the great anger of the people throughout the country and the eruption of imperialism erupted in the hearts of the Chinese people for so many years. The nationwide wave of nationalist opposition to imperialism swept through the country with an unstoppable momentum. In early June, when the workers, students and businessmen in Yingkou learned about the May 15 massacre, they held strikes, strikeouts and strikeout activities in solidarity with Shanghai workers.
