《全国海洋经济发展“十二五”规划》提出,“十二五”期间,要本着陆海统筹、联动发展,结构调整、优化发展,生态优先、绿色发展,科技引领、创新发展,国际视角、开放发展的基本原则,大力发展海洋交通运输业。到2015年,远洋船舶平均吨位达到2.5万吨,沿海港口货物吞吐量达到78亿吨,沿海港口深水泊位达到2214个;加快发展港口物流,改善口岸监管条件,逐步建成区域性物流公共信息平台。
