去年,党中央依据建设有中国特色社会主义的理论和实践,对新时期工商联的性质和任务作了明确规定,指出工商联是政府管理非公有制经济的助手,是党和政府联系非公有制经济代表人士的一个桥梁。工商联的任务主要是做非公有制经济代表人士的思想政治工作,对私营企业主、个体工商户和台湾同胞、港澳同胞、海外侨胞投资者,介绍党的方针、政策,进行爱国、敬业、守法教育,维护他们的合法权益,反映他们的正确意见和要求。
