长江口深水航道治理工程位于长江口南港北槽水道,它不仅是迄今为止中国最大的水运工程,也是世界上最大的河口治理工程。这项工程的实施,打通了长江口通航的瓶颈,让长江航运网络与国际海运网路对接。借助长江口深水航道治理工程在水下地形监测及科研技术工作方面投入了大量的力量,使长江口深水航道治理工程取得了预期目标,创造了巨大的社会和经济效益。
The Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project is located in the south channel of the North Channel of the Yangtze Estuary. It is not only China’s largest waterway project to date but also the largest estuary management project in the world. The implementation of this project has opened up the bottleneck of the Yangtze Estuary navigation, docking the Yangtze River shipping network with the international shipping network. With the help of the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project, great efforts have been put into the monitoring of underwater topography and scientific and technological work, which has made the Yangtze River estuary deepwater channel regulation project achieve the expected goal and created tremendous social and economic benefits.
