今年是新世纪的第一年,又值隆重纪念中国共产党建党80周年。中国共产党同各民主党派团结合作,并逐步形成我国社会主义政党制度,经历了几个历史时期的发展过程。概括地说,这项新型的政党制度,起源于民主革命时期,形成于建国之初,确立于社会主义制度基本建立之后,蓬勃发展于社会主义现代化建设的新时期。中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商制度,已经成为我国的一项基本政治制度,具有鲜明的中国特色,为世界社会主义谱写了新的经验。
This year marks the first year of the new century, marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. The Chinese Communist Party, in cooperation with all democratic parties, has gradually formed the socialist political party system in our country and has gone through several historical periods of development. To sum up, this new type of party system originated in the period of democratic revolution and was formed at the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic. It was established in the new period of socialist modernization after it was basically established. The system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the Chinese Communist Party has become a basic political system in our country, with distinctive Chinese characteristics and a new experience for world socialism.
