薄荷新品种阜油１号５个脱毒茎尖组培苗品系的田间小区对比试验结果表明：参试的各无性系与未脱毒的对照相比开花整齐并且提早１０ｄ左右；鲜草量增加３６５４．１５～７ ５６４．３５ｋｇ／ｈｍ ２；出油率提高０．３％ ～２．３％ 。其中９号综合性状表现最好。在太和县和界首市示范基地大田种植增产在３０％ 左右。
